7. “Don’t you know what causes that?”
6. “Babies are cute, but they are all going to be teenagers one day, you know!”
5. “How are you ever going to pay for college?”
4.”Are you done yet?”
3. “Are you really here – ALONE – with 1, 2, 3, 4 – FOUR – kids?”
2. “Jeez – You’re crazy!”
and the number 1 thing to NEVER say to a mommy, (no matter how true it is):
“Wow, you sure have your hands full, don’t ya?”
You missed my favorite, “You sure must have a lot of patience. I could never have that many kids.” The best point about this statement is that it is always said within earshot of my children. Nice.
This begs the question, was this all said by one person!
If so, shame on you for answering the first question.

PS It also means there are that many more to take care of us in our old age!!
Oh. My. Goodness. I wish I had never heard all of these addressed to myself. I also hate the “my, you have your hands full” line. Plus the ” do you know what causes this?” I really want to give smart alec answers but am usually too much of a wimp to say what I am really thinking. Maybe we should all start!
